Hin håle at Galleri Konstepidemin shows sculptures inspired by fairy tales, myths, legends and their creatures.

I have been investigating the fairy tales’ evil characters for some time, and examined how the story would be told from the monster’s point of view. The sculptures take shape in processed fallen tree branches, carvings in linden wood and portable cases in leather, wool and brass. The exhibition shows scenes from an ongoing story and allows us to look into a cabinet of curiosities with relics from a fictional history.
